Innovation is the only hope for sustainability,therefore makers have to save humanity.What we need to survive is clean water, clean air, & food- so my team of scientists (& citizen scientists) turned makers, work to invent and build the world we need

Tracy Fanara
Tracy earned a Ph.D., M.E., and BS in Environmental Engineering from the University of Florida with a focus on hydrologic restoration and stormwater treatment. She has almost a decade of project engineering consulting work on projects all over the world. Currently, Tracy is the Program Manager of the Environmental Health Research Program at Mote Marine Laboratory, where she investigates, designs, and implements strategies to alleviate manmade and natural impacts on the environment and human health. Her team uses advanced technology and citizen scientists to collect scientific data while educating the public. You may have seen her on Science Channel’s Mythbusters the Search, and can find her on ABC’s Animal Outtakes and Fox’s Awesome Planet.
